Background

Yingyun Jiang is an artist currently based in Stockholm. Yingyun pulls tales from her personal history, the stories of others, movies and music to form virtual realities that serves as the foundation and inspiration of her works.

“Dots” is her personal tribute to Yayoi Kusama. Like Alice falling down the rabbit hole, the dots have a surreal sense of weirdness. The intense colours are like an avalanche, making her feel like she is in an endless universe.

The jewelry that covid world deserve now. just a bit more until the end of the year, and sun will be on our side. For now, cheer up with colorful jewelry.

Product description:

WHAT'S WITH ALL THE DOTS?

‘Our earth is only one polka dot among a million stars in the cosmos. Polka dots are a way to infinity. When we obliterate nature and our bodies with polka dots, we become part of the unity of our environment’.

HOW TO CREATE DOTS AND INFINITY?

Yayoi Kusama dots are eggs, pumpkins, the sun, stars, moon, flowers, the universe, etc.

We can create dots with children's footprints.

Apply paint to the soles of your feet and lay out a large canvas outside (or where there's plenty of room)

Explore and play with your children, run, dance, and create infinite life with your footprints on the canvas.

Museums and cultural institutions are not only warehouses but also laboratories . The theme is to participate in the exhibition environment by making art works by buyers themselves, and blur the boundary between art and life.
